It's wedding season, and for the bride and groom, that means tying the knot. But for those attending the celebration, it may mean untying other things.

According to a survey conducted by MissTravel.com, 67 percent of wedding guests have hooked up with each other during or after the reception.

MissTravel.com,?the world's first destination-dating website, matches generous travelers who hate to travel alone with attractive travelers who would love the opportunity to travel the world for free. In doing so, the site matches travelers with similar hobbies.

"Attending a wedding alone means two things for singles: open bar and an all-day reminder that you're still single," says Brandon Wade, founder & CEO of MissTravel.com. "But many seize this opportunity to find a new connection with a like-minded single who is more receptive to finding a new love interest, even if just for the night."

Based on the confessions of 16,474 single travelers who took MissTravel.com's wedding survey over the course of two months, it seems that guests are quite creative when it comes to finding a hookup spot for their unofficial plus one. And in the heat of the moment, they don't always find the time to make it up to their room for a hookup.

"A lot of things can happen on the way to the room," says Wade. "In the heat of the moment, when you just want to feel loved right then, passion overcomes logic and suddenly you're doing the deed with the maid of honor in the elevator."
