Would you wear a wedding bikini instead of a dress?

Model Chrissy Teigen is teaming with Beach Bunny Swimwear to release a collection of wedding bikinis. Our question: Who will wear them?

Wearing a wedding dress on the beach during your destination wedding is a bit daunting: The long, flowy material gets caught in the sand. Not to mention, it's impossible to clean.

Model Chrissy Teigen might have the answer, though we're not sure your grandma will appreciate it. The Sports Illustrated stunner?— who's engaged to singer John Legend — is teaming with Beach Bunny Swimwear on a wedding bikini collection.

"I want to wear a bathing suit for my husband that makes me feel sexy," Teigen wrote of the line. "I know other women feel the same way, so I was inspired to design a line."

The bikinis — set to go on sale in September — are feminine and sexy, yet not too revealing. Several promo shots of the line show Teigen and fellow model Kate Upton wearing veils, but it seems like the bikinis are more for after the wedding, not during — especially since some of the pieces have the word "bride" printed on the butt. Not exactly the kind of classy getup you want to capture in your wedding photos.

Or maybe you do... no judging here.

"While the swimwear had to be eye-popping as well as functional for honeymoon travel, it also needed to stand apart from other styles on the beach," she told People recently. "So we added a little humor!"

The pair is reportedly set to marry in Lake Como, Italy, in September — and Teigen will be wearing Vera Wang, not a bikini.

"There's nothing like putting on a Vera. The difference is so amazing. You feel like a princess," she told US Weekly earlier this year.

The pair will then travel to the Maldives for their honeymoon, she added to People.

"I'm excited. I can't wait for the ceremony. [John] and I have been working and traveling so much that we just let our wedding planner do everything," she said in May. "We're not neurotic about it. I just want to finally see all of my friends in one area."

But, will she wear one of her bikinis? Maybe... maybe not.

"I hate the beach," she told People. "I hate the sand."

Elizabeth Taylor's first wedding dress sells... for $188K!

The dress Elizabeth Taylor wore to the first of her nine weddings just went up for auction. Let's just say it's a little out of our price range.

Elizabeth Taylor's wedding dress

The dress Elizabeth Taylor wore to marry Conrad Hilton in 1950 was just auctioned off at Christie's in London — and it ended up bringing in way more than what the auction house expected.

The dress — created by costume designer Helen Rose — sold at just over $188,000 to an unnamed buyer. That's like $917 for every day of Taylor's 205-day marriage.

"The dress is inextricably tied to the golden age of Hollywood, as well as to the extraordinary life and career of the star who wore it," Christie's director, Nicolette Tomkinson, told Vogue of the white satin gown covered in bugle beads and seed pearls. "Since it was unveiled, it has attained global appreciation, resulting in competitive bidding for it today."

It's a gorgeous dress, but it's from a particularly painful time in the late actress's life. Taylor married the hotelier when she was 18 — and she later accused him of "extreme mental cruelty" during their union.

"The honeymoon in Europe lasted two weeks," Taylor wrote in her 1965 memoir. "I should say the marriage lasted for two weeks. Then came, yours sincerely, disillusionment — rude and brutal."

Taylor, of course, went on to marry eight more times — including two marriages to the "love of her life," Richard Burton.

She eventually swore off marriage when her marriage to construction worker Larry Fortensky ended in 1995.

"You don't get over men like the flu," Taylor said after her divorce in 1996, according to the Associated Press. "Every divorce is like a little death."

"I said I'm through with marriage, but I'm not through with men — that wouldn't be realistic."

Kristin Cavallari wears Monique Lhuillier

Kristin Cavallari finally wed Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler in a Nashville ceremony last weekend. Not everyone can afford her Monique Lhuillier gown, so we've rounded up a few look-alikes that won't break the budget!

Kristin Cavallari was tight-lipped about her wedding plans, but the former reality star is now sharing photos of the Monique Lhuillier gown she wore to wed Jay Cutler in Nashville. The gorgeous gown featured a fitted bodice that showed off her toned body, along with a flare bottom. She paired the dress with a romantic half-up, half-down hairstyle, a bouquet of white peonies —?and shoes she designed herself!

"They looked incredibly happy and like they were having a great time," a source told US Weekly of the bride and groom. "It was a fun, laid-back wedding with lots of music and dancing."

Cavallari's bridesmaids reportedly wore one-shoulder, champagne-colored dresses with bouquets of white and pink flowers. Cutler and the couple's 1-year-old son, Camden Jack, wore matching gray suits, according to reports.

But, back to the dress: We're so in love with it, but Monique Lhuillier is little above our price point. We managed to find some look-alike (and affordable) dresses to take the gown's place, though!

As for her satin and metal-adorned heels? Those are a custom Cavallari creation, but you'll be able to slip your tootsies into a pair later this summer when she debuts the pumps — simply called "Love" —?exclusively on the Chinese Laundry website. The price is a budget-friendly $130, too!
